We met on January 17, 2019 at Anglers and Ale Bar & Restaurant at Hawk Cay Resort in the Florida Keys.

Patrick was there for a business dinner. Cassie was there for a girls weekend.

We struck up a conversation at the bar and learned that we were both in the trucking industry and both lived in Maryland.

We spent the next 3 days at the resort inseparable.

What was intended to be a fleeting vacation romance, changed the course of our lives forever.
